This RP is taking place after the series, and we prefer to stick with fictional students for the purpose of writing it.

Description: 5'5, average weight. Her dark brown hair goes just past her shoulders and is either worn down or in the hot weather pulled back off of her neck. She has brown eyes and wears glasses.
Personality: Shy until she gets to know someone, she'll happily talk to someone who has taken the time to get to know her. She cares about her schoolwork and prefers to get her work done when it's assigned, although there are still times when she'll get distracted from doing something that's long termed and wait a little while. When she becomes a friend with someone, they usually become a close friend because she doesn't always talk to everyone else. But the friends she becomes close too, she would never want to be without. She's also a good planner and has a creative side to her.
Background: Her father is a wizard, but her mother is a muggle. When her mother found out she left, leaving both Avery and her younger brother in the care of her father. As far as they can see, her brother hasn't shown any signs of magic, but she was really excited to get her Hogwarts letter. She is close friends with two girls her age who live in the same neighborhood. One of them is from a wizarding family but the other one isn't. She doesn't believe her second friend will go to Hogwarts and as a result is sad about leaving her, despite all the rest of the excitement she is feeling.

Description: Roughly 5'6", heavyset but not quite fat. Her hair is somewhere between brown and blond and extremely curly, usually worn back or held out of her face with a headband. She has blue eyes.
Personality: She's quiet when she feels she's supposed to be - but only then. Most of the time, she's a bit on the boisterous side and often seems like her brain is wired directly to her mouth. She can be a bit easily distracted, which leads to a lot of procrastination on school work. She's also a very cuddly person, and if she thinks one of her friends needs a hug, they will be hugged, whether they like it or not. She's comfortable talking to pretty much anyone, but she keeps her friends close. Also, she is determined that anyone who wants to mess with her friends will have to go through her first.
Background: Amy's dad is a programmer and her mom works in medical billing. Despite having a bit of an overactive imagination at times, she never really thought that there was such thing as 'magic'. Although she does have a remarkable way of breaking things in way that seems impossible. Like the burning water incident.
Other: Amy's definition of 'cute' is almost frighteningly broad. She will squeal over a scorpion just as much as she would at a litter of puppies. She also has an almost frighteningly morbid sense of humor. Also, if Amy wants to do something, she will do it right.

Personality: She is respectful and determined to prove herself. She fears that she won't turn out to be a good witch, and has a hard time trusting other people, especially if she thinks they could led her in the wrong direction, such as the Slytherins. However, she is intelligent and a good student as she tries to make herself the best that she can be.
Background: In the recent wizarding war, both of her parents were death eaters and neither survived. That is her reason for being nervous around the Slytherins. While she loved her parents, she is afraid that she could follow a similar path if she makes friends with the wrong people. She now lives with her grandfather.

Description: He's tall for his age and gives the impression of a normal person built on a slightly larger-than-normal scale. He has black hair and grey eyes, and tends to look intimidating without meaning to.
Personality: Gregor is usually soft-spoken and shy around people he doesn't know. It takes a very long time for him to get used to people. In class, he would much rather keep his head down and get his work done, and he hates group assignments.
Background: He is the first in his family to study at Hogwarts. His parents attended Durmstrang, and avoided involvement in the recent war to the best of their abilities.
Other: Pureblood. He's hiding the fact that he's a parseltongue.

Description: Winnie is short for her age. She has straight black hair that is cut to chin length and usually held out of her face by a colorful hairband or clips. She has a rounded face and large brown eyes.
Personality: She is a very outgoing person, and tends to be pretty good with guessing what not to say in certain situations and acting accordingly. She works hard in school, even though her grades aren't the best, and she doesn't mind failure in tasks so long as she knows she tried.
Background: Winnie's father is a muggle, but he has absolutely no problem with being married to a witch. She's the only daughter of a fairly well-to-do family, and the family's atmosphere is fairly relaxed. However, when rules are put into place, they tend to stay there.
Other: She has a lisp. Because of this, she has a lot of trouble in classes like Charms and Transfiguration. However, she seems to have a talent for herbology and greatly enjoys that class.

Descripiton: Short, about four feet tall, violet hair which may have been done on the Hogwarts Express but that information can not be proven, and hazel eyes
Personality: She is a very creative and talented witch, but although she can be a good student, she prefers to use her abilities towards more important matters. Like throwing a party in the Room of Requirment......She is also a good painter, which would explain all the strange creatures and objects randomly floating around pictures throughout the school. Despite that and the rest of her odd behavior, she's actually very nice
Background: EJ was raised by two muggles, her Grandmother and her Great Aunt Gredrute, who make the Dursely's look like a group of hippes. Luckily, they're both nearly blind and deaf. She also has a nearly identical sister named Junebug. Nearly being that the only difference between them is Junebug's lack of magical powers. However, the two sister's remain in close contact, and might possibley be plotting to pose Junebug as a witch so she can visit the magical world.
Other: Her secret ambition is to become an animagus so sh can turn into a ferret and go to Draco's family reunion without the other ferret's running away screaming "Ahhhhhhh! A human!"

She's also honest and doesn't like lying about anything.

Pet: Egyptian Mau cat
Description: Silver eyes, long straight black hair, petite, caramel skin, heart-shaped face, widow's peak.
Personality: Smart, sarcastic, determined (often to the point of bull-headedness) but not afraid to take (occaisionally unethical) shortcuts if she feels the need, protective of friends, kind but unafraid to be bitchy if the circumstances call for it. Especially good at Transfiguration, Charms, and Potions.
Background: Mother is a pure-blood witch from Bali, India, and father is a pure-blood wizard from Cairo, Egypt, who moved to England from Bali after Voldemort was first vanquished when Harry Potter was a baby. They refused to take part in the war that followed, but would offer what support they could to anyone who was running from or fighting Voldemort. Grew up in the same neighborhood as Amy and Avery and was best friends with Avery from the beginning because their families knew each other. Met Amy when the three girls started school and they became fast friends.
Other: Kingwood and Bloodwood wand with a unicorn tail core (.alivans.com/custom/cart/edit.asp?p=97689). Has a tendency to use her magic more than she should and for things she shouldn't in the presence of people who shouldn't know about it, especially changing her hair colour and style. Loves to play Quidditch as a Chaser. Has very little tolerance for bigotry, and loves to play pranks (nice ones on people she likes, and horribly embarrassing ones on people she doesn't).

Description: Sandy brown hair, brown eyes, short and stocky, lots of freckles, very Irish
Personality: Very smart, but very much a boy, so he goofs off a lot and annoys adults and girls with his antics. Overall good guy, just immature.
Background: Mum was a muggle, but father was a Ravenclaw at Hogwarts, moved down from Ireland after the war and he met Ash, Avery, and Amy in school. Ash and Avery's parents tried to get them to be friends with Jake, but he had already dubbed them Triple A's One and Two, so the girls didn't get along with him. He has a crush on one of the Triple A's, but during their younger years, the girls don't notice, and later on, they just can't figure out which one of them he likes.
